Our 2021/22 season may be drawing to a close, but we sure are going out with a bang! Here at the OPO we have a busy few weeks ahead, so read on to find out what’s on in Oxford this summer…

Beethoven’s Mass in C at the Sheldonian Theatre

In the Grade 1 listed Sheldonian Theatre, we perform Beethoven’s radiant Mass in C major. This grand piece is one of the composer’s most unusual and touching works.

Summer Series at Olivier Hall

Our Summer Series is taking place in the stunning new Olivier Hall at St Edward’s School, Oxford. A series of three concerts with something for everyone to enjoy, whether you are a classical music fanatic or a first-time concertgoer.

Friday 15 July: Kicking off the series with Baroque favourites by Bach, Pachelbel and more
Friday 22 July: A programme of ‘seasons’ by Piazzolla and Vivaldi
Friday 29 July: And finally, a concert dedicated to Mozart’s masterpieces

Plus we also perform each of these concerts at St Martin-in-the-Fields, London!


Oxford Piano Festival 2022

And of course, we bring the season to a close with our annual Oxford Piano Festival. Taking place from 30 July – 7 August, the Festival presents a packed schedule of masterclasses and concerts from top names in the piano world.
