Two Celli
Two Celli
Works by
Bach, Boccherini, Dvořák, Milhaud and Ireland
Peter Adams cello
Mats Lidström cello
Nicola Eimer piano
The combination of two celli with piano creates a powerful sound, close to a symphonic sound. It allows the cellists to remain within the singing register of the instrument. Our programme tonight starts with Bach and ends with a samba and a blues, with Boccherini, Dvořák, Milhaud and John Ireland in-between, performed by the Orchestra’s two Solo Celli.
