Join the phenomenal Anne-Sophie Mutter for a masterclass with up-and-coming stars of the violin world.
Anne-Sophie Mutter is a musical phenomenon: for nearly five decades the virtuoso has now been a fixture in all the world's major concert halls, making her mark on the classical music scene as a soloist, mentor and visionary. The four-time Grammy Award winner is equally committed to the performance of traditional composers as to the future of music.
We welcome applications from advanced students (of at least Diploma standard). This masterclass is open to applications from part-time or full-time students at a higher education institution. Travel bursaries are available upon request.

– University/Conservatoire
– Course & Year of Study
– Short Biography (including date & place of birth)
– Full Repertoire
– Proposed masterclass repertoire with audio and/or video links. Please submit video/audio links as Dropbox files or YouTube links.
Masterclass repertoire must be full concertos or sonatas. Students must present a piece from each of the following categories:
- A piece from the Viennese Classic Period
- A virtuosic piece (e.g. Paganini)
- A contemporary piece
