Bassoon masterclass with Bence Bogányi

We are delighted to be welcoming bassoonist Bence Bogányi to lead the Oxford Philharmonic’s second masterclass of the academic year.

We welcome applications from advanced students (of at least Diploma standard). This masterclass is open to all bassoonists who are part-time or full-time students at a UK higher education institution. Three bassoonists will be selected.

• – name, education institution, course, year of study
• – your proposed repertoire for the class
• – CV with relevant experience
• – a link to a video recording of you playing your proposed repertoire
• – whether you plan to bring your own accompanist or whether you need the OPO to provide one

The deadline for masterclass applications is Sunday 28 September 2025.
