Martha Argerich and Maxim Vengerov are undoubtably two of the most celebrated musicians of our time. Argerich, playing with a formidable virtuosity that has captivated the classical music world for over 70 years; Vengerov, with a fervent passion that is similarly spell-binding. In a year that sees the pair perform alongside one another in venues across America and Europe, they return to Oxford for an evening of enthralling chamber music in the form of violin sonatas composed by Beethoven.
