Sir András Schiff is one of the most distinguished pianists alive, an artist who can comfortably take his place among the greats and whose distinctive poise and grace at the keyboard have earned him legions of fans worldwide. He is also a great friend of Oxford’s music lovers, and returns to the city for this special recital at Christ Church Cathedral. Schiff will announce his repertoire from the stage, which will include music by a composer with whom he has long been associated musically and geographically, Joseph Haydn. A rare chance to hear one of the world’s greatest pianists in the unique acoustics of Christ Church.
