Through music and storytelling, this unique programme brings to life the vibrant artistic worlds of New York, Paris and London, where Gershwin moved in creative circles alongside the likes of Heifetz, Kreisler and Copland. Whether you’re a lifelong Gershwin fan or new to his music, this performance promises an afternoon of inspiration, nostalgia, and discovery.
This event forms part of Carnegie Hall’s United in Sound: America at 250 Festival, a citywide festival highlighting the extraordinary musical riches that have evolved and flourished in the U.S. since the signing of the Declaration of Independence 250 years ago.

This performance is produced and presented by MidAmerica Productions, Inc. in partnership with the AFOPO.
