Kathryn Stott piano
A true great of the British piano scene makes one last appearance at the Oxford Piano Festival before her well-deserved retirement from the concert stage. Kathryn Stott’s personal programme of Musical Postcards immortalises some of this stalwart pianist’s most treasured relationships – including those with Nadia Boulanger, Carl Vine and Graham Fitkin. In bidding farewell, Kathryn will herself introduce a programme ranging from Bach to Caroline Shaw from the stage. A not-to-be-missed opportunity to hear a uniquely communicative and uncommonly broadminded pianist in recital one last time.
