The Student Fellowship Programme

Our Student Fellowship Programme was created as part of our commitment to offer outstanding young musicians training in orchestral practice.

Our programme fills the gap between student ensembles and professional orchestras, offering young musicians the chance to develop the intricate skills required for orchestral playing under the guidance of top professionals.

Gaining experience and training at the highest level in what is fast becoming a highly competitive field is of paramount importance. The Oxford Philharmonic’s Student Fellowships in Orchestral Practice aim to provide young musicians nearing the end of their studies or who have recently graduated with unprecedented and highly valuable training and experience in the field.

Under the Programme, we expect a Fellow to participate in around 20 concerts during the 2025/26 Season.
