Joined again by exceptional harpsichordist Mahan Esfahani, the Philomusica presents Bach’s delightful Harpsichord Concerto No. 4 as part of the Bach Unwrapped series. A performance of the composer’s sublime Cantata 150 will illustrate why the world-famous Choir of New College, Oxford, are rightly renowned for their Baroque expertise. Both choir and orchestra will bring the concert to a memorable conclusion with Bach’s jubilant and enthralling Magnificat in D.
