Entry
Participants (playing students) - Open to advanced students of all ages and nationalities. Degree of participation dependent on assessment. Please fill out your biographical details on the application form and supply an audio or video recording attested by your teacher or another distinguished musician. Successful applicants will receive a total of three hours' tuition and will have the opportunity of playing at the participants' recital on 6 August.
Observers (non-performers) - Those wishing to attend all or part of the Festival as observers are very welcome.
- Fees for full-time observers (including free access to all classes and concerts).

Young pianists attending classes on 7 August - Ages 9-18. Associated Board Grade 5 or above (or equivalent) at merit or distinction level. Day's activities include one 45-minute lesson and attendance at any other masterclass on 7 August. Young pianists may be accompanied by one adult for the day at no extra charge.
Directing from the keyboard - Dr Papadopoulos will work with selected students on movements from one of the following three Mozart Piano Concertos: K. 413, K. 414, or K. 415. Students will have at least one private session with Dr Papadopoulos prior to playing and directing a string quartet in class.
Private tuition - Private tuition from Festival staff for selected students may be arranged during the week of the Festival. Please indicate your wish to have private tuition when applying. Rates will be given on request.
Scholarships - A limited number of scholarships are available to participants in need of financial assistance. Please send in your request together with the completed application form and recording no later than 1 June.
Students under the age of sixteen must be accompanied by a parent/guardian or their authorised proxy.
Pianos for practising are available for participants attending the Festival in the Jacqueline du Pré Music Building and Faculty of Music.
Certificates will be issued to all full-time participants and observers.
Accommodation
Full board accommodation (single standard room, three meals) at St Hilda's College. En suite accommodation (private bathroom) can be provided at St Hilda's College's newly completed complex. There is a surcharge of £16 per day for en-suite accommodation. Please note there will be no lunch provided on 8 August.
Travel
Arrival and Registration - All students should register at St Hilda's College, Oxford by 1pm on 1 August 2010. Festival staff will be available to meet students at St Hilda's College from 11am - 1pm. You will be welcomed and shown to your accommodation. Festival staff will be available at all times to answer your questions.
