The Friends and Patrons of Oxford Philomusica provide crucial support for the work of Oxford’s professional symphony orchestra. Ticket discounts

Friends receive 15% discount for a single ticket per concert (Oxford Philomusica promotions only). Joint Friends can buy two discounted tickets per concert. Patrons receive 20% discount on all tickets.

Membership is an annual subscription (you may join the scheme in any month).

Interval Drinks

Friends and Patrons are welcome to join us for a complimentary glass of wine/mineral water, alongside the opportunity to meet our players, during the interval at Sheldonian concerts.

Rehearsals

An extraordinary opportunity for Patrons to hear the Orchestra live in rehearsal at the Sheldonian Theatre, on the afternoon of a concert.

Members' Events

We hold exclusive events for our members throughout the year - these events vary in format to coincide with the Orchestra's schedule.  Past events have included pre-concert drinks receptions, post-concert receptions after chamber concerts (catered by Raymond Blanc OBE) and Friends Evenings  at Oxford Colleges that comprise of a performance and talk from an OP player and dinner. Post-concert Receptions

A delicious post-concert buffet dinner, exclusive to our Friends, Patrons and sponsors, is regularly held after Sheldonian concerts in the beautiful surrounds of an Oxford College. Additional charge.

Box Office

Please book your tickets through Oxford Philomusica’s Box Office on 01865 980 980 and mention that you are a Friend or Patron. Tickets can be bought in person at the Sheldonian Theatre on the day of the concert - just show your membership card.
