Hospitals

Hospitals are another area where we are very active. Our work at the Oxfordshire Mental Healthcare NHS Trust, where we developed specialist work at the Park and Highfield Hospitals for disturbed adolescents, was awarded a major grant from Youth Music. The evaluation of this work, both quantitative and qualitative, is proving of special therapeutic interest to the hospitals themselves and to other research bodies involved in this ground-breaking work. We have now established a new series of workshops at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre, for physically handicapped outpatients, on the basis of a number of pilot projects which were extremely well received.
