Friends Evenings
A musical evening of chamber music accompanied by dinner is held once a term at an Oxford College. Starting at 7pm, the evening follows the format of drinks, a musical interlude and talk about an aspect of the orchestra’s work provided by a member of the orchestra and then dinner followed by coffee. Tickets are £40 per head. Invitations are sent out six weeks before these events, and dates are publicised in OP Keynotes, our quarterly newsletter.
Receptions
At Sheldonian concerts, there is wine and mineral water available during the 20 minute interval. Members may help themselves to a complimentary glass, served in the Cecil Jackson Room of the Sheldonian Theatre, while you meet members of the orchestra.
Concert Plus
A post-concert buffet dinner is frequently held in the beautiful surrounds of an OxfordCollege. Tickets are £30 per head.
